Good idea, Lucinda, and nice photo! I wish I could do the same, but sadly I don't have a bookshelf these days. Am moving around so much, and all my books are sold or in storage. Photographing myself next to my Kindle just isn't the same.

My own bookshelf is a distance from my everyday abode. The books I most prize or have had for long are at my parents' place, where I know for sure things are permanent and safe. Here, right now, I have books atop various surfaces and in many a nook and cranny.
What a shame that you even had to sell some of your stock! Do hope you find somewhere to settle in soon. In the meantime, go be bookshelfie-bold in some library or bookstore, the Internet deserves to witness your trendiness, haha.
