Andrew Blackman, author of On the Holloway Road, invited bloggers to write a post for his blog in his absence, from all communication for a month, I responded and he reciprocated.
That's the long and short of it. He liked my contribution and it has since been published on his site, HERE.
My contribution is obviously going to be about what I love most, reading and books so, my read reflection for The God of Small Things, now one of my favourite novels, is up on Andrew's site. Check it out! Pick up the novel, too, you'll love it. It's an enchanting read, if, or rather, when you get the gist of Roy's beautiful and plentiful meanings in the narrative.
It was a lovely blogging experience, hoping to do more of 'em in the future!
Hi Lucinda, I found your blog through the guest post :) It's been my first time guesting as well, mine is up later in the schedule, and I agree it was a good experience. Makes you think outside the box of your own blog and gets you writing for a possibly differing audience. Thank you for introducing us to Roy!
ReplyDeleteHey Charlie, I remember your comment on my post... Quite eager to get feedback from your reading of Roy. And I love sharing that that I love, so y'all are all welcome :)
DeleteVisited your blog: I'll be hovering around there quite often; I've a literary heart. Also, will be sure to check out your guest post too - It was a fantastic idea on Andrew's part, for sure.
Thanks for stopping by!
