Anne Carson's The Glass Essay,
Emeli Sandé's My Version of Events, and the narrative 
and subsequent literature of Lorna Dee Cervantes.

    I haven't read the books, but I love Emeli Sande. Good voice, talented writer, wonderful music.

    Ah, she's lovely. And all I've been listening to lately.

    The Glass Essay is a poem. Find it online to read and appreciate. It's a piece in Arson's collection called Glass, Irony and God which I need to get me soon.

    Some of Cervantes' work can be accessed online too. Otherwise read up on Chicana literature/history at your nearest library for in-depth context.

    Indeed, a poignant observation by Woolf :)
